Sparks falling in front of a metal fence panel being worked on

On-site welding · Jupiter, FL

Posts, frames, hinges and rails repaired in place rather than carted away.

Jupiter · Palm Beach County

Not everything needs to become a new gate. A cracked hinge boss, a post that has moved, a rail that has torn away from its stile — those are structural repairs, and they happen on site with the gate still hanging.

Estate frontage is where scrollwork, cast detail and a properly matched pair are worth the shop time, because there is enough opening to actually see them.

Wider frontages tend to favour a slide or a long swing pair, and both want the ground under them prepared properly.

Outside the HVHZ — a different set of paperwork

Palm Beach County sits outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone that governs Miami-Dade and Broward. Wind still decides the frame here; the product-approval paperwork is simply a different set. Permitting in Jupiter is administered locally, so confirm what is expected before fabrication starts.

Before you call

  • Ornamental ironwork
  • Drawn in-house
  • Cut and welded here
  • On-site welding
  • Two-leaf openings
Does custom mean a different scale of job?
Not necessarily. Where the opening is an odd width or the pier is not square, a made piece is often the only thing that fits at all.
Can ornamental ironwork be repaired?
Frequently — that is welding and dressing rather than replacement, and it happens on site where the piece is already fixed.
Can a two-leaf gate work on my frontage?
If the setback gives the leaves somewhere to open into, yes — that gets measured on site before anything is drawn.
Two leaves or one?
A pair halves the arc each leaf needs and doubles the hardware. Opening width and setback usually settle it between them.
