Drawn properly, then shown on your own entrance before a cut is made.

The north-west communitiesMaster-planned since the seventies, which means shared entries far more often than private ones.

Coconut Creek · Broward County

Most custom gates begin as something drawn badly on a phone. That is genuinely enough. It gets turned into a real drawing, put on a photograph of your entrance, and changed there — where changes are free.

Matching something that already exists is most of the work — an existing panel, a neighbouring run, or a detail lifted off the house itself.

Planned communities repeat — the same frontage width, the same setback, and often the same entry problem several hundred times over.

Ask before the steel is ordered

Broward is inside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so the wind rating is settled by code rather than by preference. What is not settled by code is the local review — Coconut Creek handles that itself, and starting it early is the cheapest decision on the whole project.

Worth knowing

  • Drawn in-house
  • Cut and welded here
  • On-site welding
  • Ornamental ironwork
  • Shared-entry duty cycle
Who is responsible for the entry?
Usually the association rather than any one resident, which changes who we talk to and who signs the work off.
What does the county require?
Broward sits inside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so wind rating is set by code. The permit itself is local, and an HOA architectural review often runs alongside it.
Is Broward the same as Miami-Dade?
For wind load, yes — both counties are inside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone. For permitting, no: that is administered locally and it is not identical from city to city.
I have a sketch, not a drawing.
A sketch is enough to start. We draw it properly and show you the gate on your entrance.

Next step

Send a photograph of the entrance and roughly what you want it to do. That is enough to start a real conversation.
