Estate fencing · Greenacres, FL

Ornamental estate fencing, security runs and matched side returns.

Horizontal timber slat gate between stucco piers, under flowering bougainvillea.
Inland & equestrianWest of the turnpike the county turns to paddocks and service roads, and a gate is sized around a truck and trailer.

Greenacres · Palm Beach County

A boundary is usually three or four different problems: the frontage anyone sees, the side returns nobody does, and wherever it meets a neighbour. They get treated as one run so the finishes and the heights actually agree.

Acreage boundaries run over ground that moves. Panels get racked or stepped to the grade so the top line stays deliberate instead of wandering.

Utilities thin out quickly away from the built-up grid, so the supply question gets asked before the design question.

The coastal towns add a layer

Palm Beach County sits outside the High-Velocity Hurricane Zone, so the product approvals differ from the two counties to the south. On top of that, several towns and associations in this county run design guidelines of their own — so what Greenacres expects is worth reading before a finish is chosen, not after.

  • Set to the grade
  • Matched to the gate
  • Aluminum or steel
  • Ornamental estate
  • Solar & battery options
How deep do the posts go?
Deep enough for the panel height and for the ground it is going into. That is a calculation, not a habit.
Do I need a pedestrian gate in the run?
One somewhere sensible is the thing nobody regrets and plenty of people come back to add later.
The gate is nowhere near a power supply.
That is a normal starting point. Solar, battery and trenched runs are all real options, and the site decides between them.
How far can the control run?
Further than most people expect, but the run length is what decides the cable, the voltage drop, and whether wireless is the better answer.
